ME550 CR80 EMBOSSER

The fully automated ME550 CR80 is a compact and portable embosser specifically designed to work with aluminum and stainless steel tags of the size of a credit card (2.13” x 3.38”). Such aluminum tags can have one, two or three horizontal scores to produce two, three or four smaller tags in one embossing pass when the original tag is first embossed and then broken into its scored portions.

In addition to the increased production speed, the completely renewed design of this machine includes the following advanced features:

• 7-inch color touchscreen display with high resolution for quick set-up and operation

• Linux-based central processing unit and multi-language user interface

• Password-protected machine configuration for security

• Universal auto switching power supply (100V-240V)

The included user-friendly PowerTag software allows the operator to easily create and administer multiple jobs, manage fixed and variable data and have unlimited template storage - all leading to a fast and convenient production of multiple embossed tags.

The 2D Data Matrix version of this machine allows to stamp alphanumeric characters and 2D Data Matrix barcodes on metal tags. The great advantage of such barcodes is their ability to contain a large quantity of data in a limited amount of space.

The ME550 CR80 is a completely self-contained metal tag embossing machine that is simple to transport due to its light weight (only 57 lbs) and easy-to-carry built-in handle. Designed to operate in harsh industrial environments, it is ideal for component and production-line identification, as well as traceability applications.
